The compressed air system in Plant 2 includes extra microfilters that remove even solid particles down to 0.01 microns. Dust particles as small as 1/1000th of a millimetre: that’s cleaner than in an operating room!
Longer lifespan of moulds
An additional advantage of working with extremely clean compressed air is that all equipment using compressed air remains clean. The lifespan is therefore much longer.
The results of the new compressed air system in Plant 2 are so good that Moens Mouldings has now installed a similar filter system in Plant 1.
